BMW Korea Future Foundation 10th Anniversary "Contributing to Korea's Sustainable Development"
BMW Korea Future Foundation, a non-profit foundation under BMW Group Korea, announced on the 20th that it held an online ceremony to commemorate the foundation's 10th anniversary.

BMW Korea Future Foundation officially launched in July 2011 and is a non-profit social contribution organization celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Over the past 10 years, more than 215,000 people have benefited from the educational and sharing activities provided by the foundation, and since its establishment, the cumulative donation amount has reached approximately 23.7 billion KRW as of 2020, the foundation explained.
The 10th anniversary ceremony held the previous day via YouTube live broadcast was attended by Hendrik von Kuenheim, Vice President of BMW Group Asia Pacific, and Sangyoon Han, Chairman of BMW Korea Future Foundation, among others.
Vice President von Kuenheim said, “BMW Korea Future Foundation has reached its 10th anniversary by focusing on various projects for sustainable growth, the development of Korean society, eco-friendly leadership, global talent cultivation, and the spread of donation culture. Moving forward, we will continue to take steps toward a ‘better future’ and achieve the foundation’s new core values of ‘connecting, creating change, and leading empathy.’”
The foundation emphasized that it will contribute to nurturing future talents and the sustainable development of Korean society by conducting multifaceted purpose projects such as the science creativity education program for children ‘Junior Campus,’ the automotive industry specialized job lecture program for future talents ‘Young Engineer Dream Project,’ and the environmental education program ‘Next Green.’

Additionally, it added that starting last month, it launched the ‘Online Live Junior Campus,’ an expansion of the existing Junior Campus to a non-face-to-face format, and plans to carry out various new projects such as ‘Next Green To Go,’ which utilizes used batteries from electric vehicles as portable eco-friendly energy storage systems (ESS).
