'Tada' Recruiting Drivers Ahead of December Service Launch "Up to 41 Million KRW Payment"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] 'Tada,' now under the umbrella of Toss, will launch a new service this December.
Tada's operator VCNC announced on the 20th that it is recruiting drivers with photos to participate in the new service 'Tada Next.' Previously, Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial platform Toss, acquired 60% of VCNC's shares.
'Tada Next' is a call mediation service based on large vehicles with seven or more seats driven by drivers holding taxi licenses.
Tada has secured Hyundai Motor Company's 'Staria' trim model specifically for mobility services.
Driver eligibility requires holding a Seoul private taxi license and having no administrative disciplinary history. Any private taxi operator with a 5-year accident-free record who meets these conditions can apply.
Drivers selected as the first cohort will receive up to 41 million KRW. A promotion fee of 15 million KRW for the Tada service will be provided, and if certain driving conditions are met, an activity fee of up to 2 million KRW per month will be given for 12 months.
Drivers currently operating 'Tada Light' or 'Tada Plus' who switch to 'Tada Next' drivers will receive up to 2 million KRW depending on their Tada service experience period.
