At this festival, cyclist Kim Chae-yeon (2nd year at Jeonnam Sports High School) won her first gold medal, achieving a triple crown and adding two bronze medals, earning a total of five medals.
Also, Jo Min-jae (2nd year at Jeonnam Sports High School), who had achieved a triple crown for three consecutive years at the Youth Sports Festival, won a triple crown at the National Sports Festival, which was his first participation.
Roller skater Lee Yoo-jin (2nd year at Yeosu Chungmu High School) won two crowns, including a gold medal in the high school girls' Speed 1000m O.R and setting a new tournament record in the Sprint 500m+D event.
