Yeungnam Polytechnic College Produces First Employed Graduates from Daegu-Gyeongbuk Meister and Specialized High Schools
Employment at a Global Semiconductor Backend Process Company through Job Competency Enhancement
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Yeongnam Institute of Technology has produced its first employed student through a high school employment support project aimed at securing excellent jobs for local high school students, organized by the Job Center.
Yeongnam Institute of Technology provided employment competency enhancement education, including individual resume and self-introduction letter writing and interview coaching, targeting Meister and specialized high school students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, resulting in a total of 67 students being employed at Amkor Technology Korea and STATS ChipPAC Korea.
In July and September, Yeongnam Institute of Technology signed multilateral agreements with Meister and specialized high schools in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area and companies, pledging to nurture excellent local professionals and support employment.
Accordingly, on the 7th, interviews were conducted for students from local Meister and specialized high schools with Amkor Technology Korea and STATS ChipPAC Korea.
A total of 88 candidates who passed the document screening participated in the interviews, with 35 finally accepted by Amkor Technology Korea and 32 by STATS ChipPAC Korea. These successful candidates are scheduled to join by November after health checkups and dormitory admission procedures and will work as manufacturing operators.
