Jangseong-gun Designated as 'Youth Harmful Environment Monitoring Group Operating Institution'
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Doo-seok) announced on the 15th that on the 13th, the Jangseong-gun Crime Prevention Association (Chairman Lee O-chae, hereinafter referred to as Jangseong-gun Crime Prevention Association) was designated as a Youth Harmful Environment Monitoring Group and the designation certificate was delivered.
The county aimed to operate the Youth Harmful Environment Monitoring Group to prevent youth delinquency and protect them from various harmful environments. After announcing the recruitment of operating institutions last month and going through the designation review committee, the Jangseong-gun Crime Prevention Association was selected as the first operating institution in the jurisdiction.
Based on 15 years of crime prevention activity experience, the Jangseong-gun Crime Prevention Association plans to engage in activities for the safety and protection of local youth, such as monitoring violations of the Youth Protection Act and conducting campaign activities.
Chairman Lee O-chae said, “We will do our best in our duties so that the youth, who are the future leaders, can grow up healthily in a proper environment.”
Governor Yoo Doo-seok said, “I thank the members of the Jangseong-gun Crime Prevention Association who participated with a heart of service for the community despite being busy with their livelihoods,” and added, “I hope you will work hard so that local youth can live in a safer environment.”
