KT Holds New Business Idea Contest for Quantum Cryptography Communication... Total Prize Money 7 Million Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] On the 15th, KT announced that it will hold a new business idea contest combining quantum cryptography communication technology and services as part of the 2021 Digital New Deal Quantum Cryptography Communication Pilot Infrastructure Construction Project.
The "Quantum Cryptography Communication Pilot Infrastructure Construction Project" is a project to develop and commercialize various services integrated with quantum cryptography communication technology. KT plans to discover service ideas that can be applied to next-generation security technology, quantum cryptography communication technology, and provide university (graduate) students with opportunities to grow as quantum cryptography communication experts.
This contest is open not only to students majoring in quantum cryptography communication but also to university (graduate) students from humanities, social sciences, arts, and other majors who have innovative ideas. Students wishing to participate can submit their entries through videos such as UCC, films, motion graphics, public service advertisements, animations, flash, and documentaries. They can download the application form from the website and submit it along with their entries by November 30.
The total prize money is approximately 7 million KRW. The first-place winner (team) will receive a prize of 3 million KRW, and the second-place winner (team) will receive 2 million KRW. Judging will be conducted in two rounds, and the final results will be awarded at the excellent ideas presentation event.
