Gwanak-gu Mayor Park Jun-hee Participates in Various Programs Including Plogging SNS Event, Anguksa Opening Ceremony, and Lantern Performance
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The 2021 Gwanak Gang Gam-chan Festival opened on the 14th.
This festival will feature various programs in an online space for four days until the 17th.
On this day, District Mayor Park Jun-hee participated in several programs throughout the festival site, further elevating the festive atmosphere. First, he took part in the ‘Sseudam Sseudam Gang Gam-chan Plogging’ held at Byeolbitnaericheon, a program where participants collect trash and share their efforts on SNS.
Afterwards, the opening ceremony was conducted via dual live broadcasts from Anguksa Temple and Byeolbitnaericheon. Mayor Park expressed his gratitude to the residents participating in the festival in the courtyard of Anguksa Temple and joined local representatives in a lighting performance. He then moved to Byeolbitnaericheon to participate in the ‘Tell Your Starry Wishes’ program, where participants write wishes and hang them on sculptures, concluding the first day of the festival.
