Following the AI emergency action guidelines, the Ministries have designated a 10 km radius around the wild bird droppings collection sites as surveillance areas and are strengthening inspections of poultry farms within these regions, implementing quarantine measures. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs emphasized the serious situation due to the high possibility of AI introduction caused by the arrival of overseas migratory birds during winter, urging poultry farmers to promptly maintain quarantine facilities and disinfection equipment, and to strictly adhere to basic biosecurity measures such as disinfecting farms and livestock sheds, washing hands, and changing boots.
