View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Former leader Lee Nak-yeon, who was defeated in the Democratic Party presidential primary, held a disbandment ceremony for his election camp on the 14th at the Daesan Building in Yeouido, Seoul.
After his defeat in the primary, Lee officially raised an objection to the party on the 11th, claiming that the party's election commission's decision to invalidate the votes obtained by candidates who withdrew midway according to Article 59 of the party's special regulations was wrong. However, the day before, the Democratic Party's executive committee decided not to accept Lee Nak-yeon's objection regarding the vote counting method in the presidential primary, and Lee accepted this decision and declared his concession.
