Hannam University Korean Language and Culture Center, Call for Proposals on 'Korean Language and Culture Revitalization Plan'
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Hannam University Korean Language and Culture Center announced on the 14th that it will hold a "Planning Proposal Contest for the Activation of Our Language and Culture" to commemorate the 575th anniversary of Hangeul Day this year.
The contest is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by Hannam University Korean Language and Culture Center and the Korean Language and Culture Center Federation. The purpose of the contest is to select various ideas to promote the use of the Korean language.
This contest, themed "Plans to Activate Our Language and Writing for Multicultural Families," will accept proposals until the 14th of next month, followed by a first round of document evaluation and a second round of presentation evaluation to select outstanding proposals.
The university plans to award cultural gift certificates worth 1,000,000 KRW to the grand prize winner, 500,000 KRW to the excellence award winner, and 300,000 KRW to the encouragement award winner, along with certificates.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the participation form from the Korean Language and Culture Center website or the contest website, filling it out, and submitting it.
