One Worker Buried Under Collapsing Building During Demolition in Mokpo... Rescued in Cardiac Arrest Condition
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] At around 4:40 PM on the 13th, an accident occurred where a building collapsed at a house demolition site in Geum-dong, Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do.
As a result of the accident, a male worker in his 60s was buried. The fire authorities deployed 8 pieces of equipment and rescue personnel, and rescued the buried worker within 20 minutes, but he was reported to be in a state of cardiac arrest.
He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, and it is known that there were no additional buried persons.
