On the 13th, in a congratulatory speech at the 'Han River Estuary Yeomha Waterway Pilot Navigation Event' jointly hosted by Gyeonggi Province, Gimpo City, and the Ministry of Unification, Minister Lee said, "The Han River Estuary is an open space that stimulates new approaches and creativity in envisioning inter-Korean cooperation, such as seeking flexible application of sanctions against the North."

Minister Lee stated, "The inter-Korean communication liaison line was restored with difficulty on the 4th," adding, "I hope that through the prompt resumption of dialogue between the South and the North, we can move forward together on the path of multifaceted implementation of inter-Korean agreements, including cooperation in the Han River Estuary."
