KD's Successful Sales of 'The Sharp Cheonan Lake Mark'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Taemin] KD announced on the 12th that ‘The Sharp Cheonan Lake Mark,’ supplied in Cheonan City, Chungnam, is approaching a complete sell-out in a short period.
In September, this complex, entrusted by KD and constructed by POSCO Construction, is an apartment complex with 411 households located in the Jiksan area of Cheonan City, Chungcheongnam-do. It recorded an average competition rate of 6.20 to 1 in the first-priority subscription for the relevant area, with all housing types sold out. The highest competition rate was for the 75㎡A exclusive unit, which attracted 971 applicants for 35 units, resulting in a 27.74 to 1 ratio.
A sales official said, "Since it is located in a highly scarce non-regulated area, there was high interest even before the sale, and the good subscription results seem to have led to a quick sell-out."
KD entered the comprehensive construction business in 2013 and introduced projects such as the ‘Gangil Arpeon’ officetel in Seoul and the ‘KD U-Tower’ knowledge industry center in the Munjeong district in 2014. In 2015, it launched the brand KD Aramchae and supplied projects including ‘Asan Beopgok KD Aramchae,’ ‘Donghae KD Aramchae,’ and ‘Asan KD Aramchae Ustay.’
In the future, KD plans to supply apartments with exclusive areas of 74㎡ and 84㎡, totaling 878 households, in the Gunsan New Station Area land development district in Jeonbuk. In U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, it will supply an officetel with 122 units, and in Mojong-dong, Asan City, Chungnam, it plans to supply a mixed-use complex consisting of 256 apartment households, 24 officetel units, and first-floor neighborhood living facilities.
