On the 11th, Kim wrote on her Facebook, "As a complete computer illiterate, I didn't even know how to receive a KakaoTalk gift on my birthday and returned them all. It took me as long as four days to successfully register as a voter in the Democratic Party's national primary," adding, "A few days ago, I received a text message to vote, and I hesitated for a moment whether to vote for my old love Lee Jae-myung, but I boldly voted for Lee Nak-yeon."
She added, "This is a strange experience I have done for the first time in my life for the daughters of this country."
Kim also wrote another post declaring, "From today, I declare a campaign against Lee Jae-myung's election," and left the message, "Kim Booseon, the original action leader."
Earlier, Governor Lee was selected as the Democratic Party's presidential candidate on the previous day (the 10th). In the final primary held that day, Lee achieved a final cumulative vote rate of 50.29%, barely surpassing the majority, securing a direct path to the general election without a runoff.
In his acceptance speech that day, Lee said, "Today, we chose 'change,'" and expressed his ambition, "I will become a strong president who protects the lives of the people."

Seol Hoon and Hong Young-pyo, co-chairs of Lee's campaign, issued a statement saying, "We will officially submit an objection to the party's election commission regarding the handling of invalid votes in accordance with the prescribed procedures."
They emphasized, "We have repeatedly pointed out that treating votes as invalid when a candidate withdraws mid-primary directly contradicts the original purpose of introducing a runoff vote."
Governor Lee achieved a final 'barely majority' of 50.29% in this primary. However, if votes for former Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun and Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Doo-kwan, who withdrew mid-primary, are included, the final cumulative vote rate drops to 49.32%, falling short of the majority.
Regarding this, Democratic Party leader Song Young-gil stated on the 11th about Lee Nak-yeon's camp's objection, "The Democratic Party has officially declared Lee Jae-myung as the 20th Democratic Party presidential candidate," effectively indicating that the objection is unacceptable.

After visiting the National Daejeon National Cemetery that day and meeting with reporters, Leader Song said, "The ruling party of the Republic of Korea, the Democratic Party, operates according to the party constitution and regulations," adding, "This was not created when I was the party leader but was passed during former leader Lee Hae-chan's time in August last year when former leader Lee Nak-yeon was elected," explaining the situation.
