Recently, a petition titled "I lost my father to the Pfizer vaccine on his birthday" was posted on the Blue House National Petition Board.
The petitioner, Mr. A, stated, "My father, who turned 59 this year, received his second Pfizer vaccine dose on the 10th of last month and passed away on the 14th, the day before his birthday," opening up about the situation. "Our family is heartbroken and frustrated over my father's lonely and quiet passing."
He continued, "My sibling and I married early and moved out. My father and mother were living alone together. About six months before his death, my father retired and was resting at home while preparing for exams to challenge himself with a new job."
Mr. A appealed, "My father dreamed only of happiness, doing what he wanted after retirement, but he suddenly died four days after receiving the Pfizer vaccine. I want to clear up the injustice surrounding his death."
According to Mr. A, his father had no significant side effects after the first Pfizer dose on August 9. However, after the second dose on the 10th of last month, he complained of feeling unwell and itching.
His father continued to suffer from itching. On the 13th, he visited a hospital, where he was diagnosed with 'allergic urticaria' and prescribed allergy injections, medication, and ointment. Despite taking the medicine and applying the ointment all over his body, his condition did not improve.
Mr. A described the situation: "On the morning of the 14th, my mother checked on my father before leaving for work. However, when she returned home after work, she found him lying in the same position as in the morning. His hands were cold, his body covered with red spots and hives, and his upper gums were cracked and bleeding." His father was immediately taken to the hospital but was already deceased.
He added, "The next day, the 15th, was my father's birthday. Instead of a day filled with his laughter, we had to say goodbye to him," expressing his grief.
He lamented, "If he hadn't been vaccinated, my father would still be alive. We lost him overnight. There continue to be deaths and victims from vaccine side effects like my father's. Where can we express and reveal such injustice?"
Furthermore, he said, "Currently, vaccination has become a social necessity, and my father, as a citizen, followed the government's recommendation to get vaccinated. The outcome is unbelievably tragic. His sudden death is so shocking. I still can't believe it. Please help us."
