SBI Savings Bank's Financial Platform 'Saidabank' Surpasses 850,000 Registered Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] SBI Savings Bank announced on the 7th that the number of subscribers to its financial platform ‘Saida Bank’ has surpassed 850,000.
Saida Bank is an in-house financial platform launched by SBI Savings Bank in June 2019. At the time of its launch, it attracted attention with a special savings product offering over 10% annual interest and a 2% no-conditions free withdrawal parking account. Currently, the number of downloads has reached 1.5 million.
SBI Savings Bank’s strategy of attracting customers in their 20s to 40s to an industry previously dominated by middle-aged and older customers is considered effective. In November last year, they also introduced ‘Saida Bank 2.0,’ which incorporated financial services closely related to daily life into digital form and expanded customer convenience services.
Currently, Saida Bank offers services including the country’s first payroll revolving transfer service, couple accounts, and foreign currency exchange wallet functions. It has also introduced a safe transfer service for financial consumer protection and FakeFinder, an app detection solution for voice phishing.
