The ‘Children’s Traffic Safety Relay Challenge’ campaign was launched by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety last December to raise public awareness about children’s traffic safety and to establish a culture that prioritizes preventing traffic accidents and protecting children in school zones.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced the children’s traffic safety slogan “Stop at 1, Look both ways at 2, Wait for 3 seconds, Prevent with 4 actions” and has been actively promoting the campaign. The ‘Children’s Traffic Safety Relay Challenge’ campaign proceeds by having the nominated person share a photo holding a sign with the Ministry’s traffic safety slogan ‘Stop at 1, Look both ways at 2, Wait for 3 seconds, Prevent with 4 actions’ along with a slogan, and then nominating the next participant.
CEO Kim Dong-wook, who joined the campaign upon the nomination by Jo Woo-hyun, CEO of Daesun Joojo, a local company in the Busan area, nominated CEO Jeong Kyung-tae of Gyeongnam Automobile Sales as the next participant.
