Recruiting 50 Digital Specialist Trainees for Job-Seeking Youth Under 34 Years Old
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Productivity Center (Chairman An Wanki, hereinafter KPC) announced on the 6th that it is recruiting participants for the 'Gyeongnam Digital Filling Education Project' to train specialized personnel needed by IT-related companies in Gyeongnam Province.
The recruitment period is until the 22nd of this month, and selected trainees will receive various services such as close counseling, level-based specialized education, practical training, and employment linkage for about five months starting from the end of October. In addition, to increase trainees' participation in education and employment motivation, those who complete the specialized education and practical training courses will receive an education allowance equivalent to 200,000 KRW per month for up to three months and a certification acquisition support allowance of 200,000 KRW per person. Furthermore, if they succeed in employment and work for more than three months, an additional employment allowance of 500,000 KRW per person will be provided.

Moon Jin-gu, a senior specialist at the KPC Job Innovation Center, said, "It is necessary to strengthen the capabilities of youth who flexibly respond to changes in the labor market conditions caused by COVID-19," adding, "KPC, together with the Gyeongnam Economic Promotion Agency, will conduct close counseling and education for acquiring digital specialized certifications to enhance the digital capabilities of Gyeongnam youth and improve employment rates in related fields."
