[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hyundai Motor Company unveiled a global campaign video on the 6th containing a message for the so-called 'Generation One,' the first generation to live in the era of carbon neutrality.
The newly released video was produced under the global campaign theme "Expecting Generation One." Generation One is a term coined by Hyundai to refer to the first generation to personally experience the positive changes brought about by the realization of carbon neutrality.
Through this campaign video, Hyundai captured the voices of mothers around the world in everyday life who wish to pass on a clean environment and a better future to the next generation. It also includes the hope that customers are at the center of sustainable change in response to the climate crisis, and that everyone is waiting for Generation One.
Under the theme "Expecting Generation One," Hyundai plans to continue various communications so that global customers and opinion leaders can genuinely empathize with and participate in the changes toward a sustainable future.
On the 6th of last month, at IAA Mobility 2021 held in Munich, Germany, Hyundai declared carbon neutrality by 2045, aiming to achieve net-zero carbon emissions at all stages including vehicle production, operation, and disposal, focusing on clean mobility, next-generation mobility platforms, and green energy.
