GIST supports physical and human resources to help achieve startup commercialization by evaluating the excellence of business items and commercialization potential, focusing on technology using artificial intelligence.
The specialized field for the preliminary startup package hosted by GIST is artificial intelligence (AI). Following the capacity-building training held in July for a total of 37 selected preliminary entrepreneurs, a customized advanced course was conducted via non-face-to-face lectures on Friday, October 1.
The customized advanced training was divided into lecture and mentoring formats covering ▲ Marketing & Branding (Persuasive Communication, TPCM Model) ▲ Winning IR Training (Pitch Deck Composition and Production, IR Pitching to Persuade Investors) ▲ Fundraising and Understanding VC Investment (Fundraising Strategies through Real Cases, Investment Perspectives from VC Reviewers, Advice for Startups).
Jo Byung-kwan, head of the GIST Startup Promotion Center, said, “To provide high-quality education, we assigned instructors with high satisfaction among entrepreneurs to the advanced training,” adding, “We will do our best to support preliminary entrepreneurs to achieve successful startup commercialization through various startup education programs.”
Meanwhile, as a follow-up training, the 2021 Preliminary Startup Package Open Advanced Training is scheduled to be held at the end of October. This training will be conducted in a way that preliminary entrepreneurs can select and attend desired courses on a single online platform, which includes training planned by each preliminary startup package host institution.
