Police Book Franchise Karaoke Bar Chairman on Charges of Assaulting Employee

According to the police on the 5th, the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul has booked and is investigating Kim Mo (54), the chairman of the franchise karaoke pub, on charges of assault. On the 29th of last month, they summoned and questioned a former employee who claimed to have been assaulted.
Chairman Kim is accused of hitting employee A’s head after seeing employees exchanging messenger conversations in the office in November 2019, complaining about "frequent overtime and business trips" and "wanting to leave work."
