Ajusteel Joins as Full Member of Steel Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Ajou Steel, specializing in the production and sale of premium color steel sheets for video electronics and household appliances, has become a member of the Korea Iron & Steel Association.
The Korea Iron & Steel Association announced that Ajou Steel became its 39th full member as of October 1.
Founded in 1995, Ajou Steel operates factories in Gumi and Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk Province, and supplies materials to various industries including construction materials, automotive, and solar energy, with a focus on materials for home appliances.
Additionally, Ajou Steel was designated as the first domestic reshoring company in 2020, and in August 2021, it was recognized for its growth potential by achieving the highest-ever competitiveness in the KOSPI initial public offering (IPO) subscription.
