Lee Kum Kee Launches Chinese Seafood Soy Sauce

Chinese Seafood Soy Sauce is a Cantonese-style soy sauce that is not salty and has an excellent sweetness. It uses dried scallops abundantly in brewed soy sauce, giving it a rich seafood flavor and aroma with outstanding umami. It can be used in various stir-fries, braises, and soups, and because it is not salty, it can also be used as a dipping sauce for dumplings or as a flavorful soy sauce.
The soy sauce produced by Lee Kum Kee is made from high-quality soybeans directly managed from the farm, combined with state-of-the-art koji manufacturing technology, and naturally fermented in a 120-ton fermentation tank exposed to sunlight. Soy sauce exposed to direct sunlight eliminates harmful bacteria, greatly enhancing its flavor. This is the same principle as disinfecting the lid of a jangdok (fermentation jar) when aging soy sauce in Korea.
The production facility, Xinhui Production Complex, has obtained various international safety and quality management certifications such as HACCP, BRC, ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO22000.
