Gyeonggi-do to Operate Experience Programs at 7 Famous Alleys and Streets Starting October
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will operate experience programs at seven alleys and streets within the province starting in October.
Looking at the main experience schedule, first, 'Goyang Goyang-dong Nopbit Goeul-gil' (October 10?30, 12 sessions) and 'Gimpo Gunhari Mansero Gunha-gil' (October 9?24, 14 sessions) will offer historical experience alley tours guided by village narrators.
Nopbit Goeul-gil features Nopbitgol, where the site of Byeokjegwan (a Joseon Dynasty post station) remains, and Mansero Gunha-gil includes historical resources such as Tongjin Hyanggyo (a Goryeo Dynasty Confucian school).
'Uijeongbu Budaejjigae Street' will install a VR experience space for making budaejjigae and operate it by advance reservation.
'Yangpyeong Gyeonggi Millennium Theme Alley' has improved old murals and installed photo zones with yellow as the main theme, reminiscent of the ginkgo tree at Yongmunsa Temple.
'Gapyeong Gyeongchun Line Time Travel Street' will produce alley promotional video content using backgrounds such as a music station, an abandoned train, and a market, and will also hold exhibitions utilizing the abandoned train.
