According to the legal community on the 2nd, Judge Kim Yushin of the Busan District Court Criminal Division 11 sentenced Mr. A, who was indicted on charges including fraud, to 10 months in prison. The court pointed out, "The defendant has a history of being sentenced to prison multiple times for similar crimes, yet committed this offense less than three months after his release," and added, "The victim's restitution has not been made, making the nature of the crime very serious."

Mr. A was indicted on charges of ordering three bottles of whiskey worth about 180,000 won at a bar in Jung-gu, Busan, calling three entertainment hostesses to drink, and failing to pay about 670,000 won. On the same day, he went to another bar for a second round, drank three more bottles of whiskey, and did not pay 450,000 won. Previously, he was sentenced to prison for fraud in August last year and completed his sentence in November of the same year.
