KT Launches 'Early Newlywed Bundle' Exclusive for Engaged Couples
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 1st that it will launch a new bundled product called ‘Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab’ (Early Newlywed Bundle) for engaged and newlywed couples.
Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab is an exclusive product for newlywed couples. Customers who subscribe to this product can receive up to a 50% discount on one mobile line’s fee for six months without using KT internet services.
For example, if two engaged couples use the Super Plan Basic Choice plan costing 90,000 KRW per month and subscribe to Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab, one person will receive a total discount of 3,300 KRW, and the spouse will pay only 45,000 KRW out of the 90,000 KRW fee.
Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab was designed to meet the demand of engaged couples who cannot receive bundled benefits because internet installation is impossible before moving into their newlywed home. By submitting simple proof such as a paper wedding invitation or a wedding hall contract, customers can receive bundled benefits without a family relation certificate.
If customers who subscribed to Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab sign up for internet service within six months and switch to ‘Premium Family Bundle,’ they can continue to receive up to a 50% bundled discount benefit without any change.
Hyunjin Park, Executive Vice President and Head of KT Customer Strategy Division, said, “Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab is a product prepared to reflect the realistic situations of newlywed couples starting a new life and to alleviate their communication cost burden.” He added, “Starting with Shinhon Miri Gyeolhab, we plan to continuously launch various services tailored to customer needs.”
