Real Estate Development Association Visits 5th Corps Border Area on Armed Forces Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] The Korea Real Estate Development Association (KODA) announced on the 30th that its executive members and the Creative City Convergence Advanced Program (ARP) executives visited the 5th Corps of the Central Front in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, ahead of the 73rd Armed Forces Day to encourage the soldiers dedicated to national defense and to deliver consolation money.
Attending the visit were Kim Seung-bae, Chairman of the Korea Real Estate Development Association, Kim Byung-seok, Senior Vice Chairman of the association, and member companies. They observed military training held at the Pocheon Promotion Training Center and toured the Cheorwon Peace Observatory, experiencing the importance of national security firsthand.
Additionally, discussions were held with related officials including the Mayor of Cheorwon, the Mayor of Pocheon, and the Commander of the 5th Corps regarding public-private-military cooperation and regional economic revitalization plans. The discussions focused on development directions suitable for the characteristics of the border area from the perspective of developers.
