According to the city on the 30th, the newly opened daycare centers are Mugae Starhills Daycare Center and Jangyu Samjeong Green Core Daycare Center in the Jangyu area, increasing the number of public daycare centers in the jurisdiction from 49 to 51.
Mugae Starhills Daycare Center is a single-story building with a total area of 164㎡, equipped with childcare rooms, a kitchen, and a teachers' room capable of caring for 30 infants and toddlers.
Jangyu Samjeong Green Core Daycare Center is also a single-story building with a total area of 131㎡, featuring childcare rooms, a kitchen, and a teachers' room that can care for 27 infants and toddlers.
Mayor Heo Seong-gon stated, "We plan to continuously expand public daycare centers by installing and converting existing private and home daycare centers, as well as daycare centers within apartment management offices, into public ones," adding, "We will create a childcare environment where parents can feel safe and trust to leave their children."
