NongHyup Bank Conducts Non-Face-to-Face Financial Education in Financially Underserved Areas
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 30th that it conducted non-face-to-face financial education for students of Okcheon Elementary School located in Okcheon-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, and delivered supplies to promote cultural and artistic education development.
This education was conducted through the 'Happiness Filling Financial Classroom' operated by NH Nonghyup Bank, a financial education program targeting not only financially marginalized groups but also youth and the general public.
In particular, to prevent COVID-19, the education was conducted non-face-to-face via ZOOM, and was tailored to the level of elementary school students under the theme of 'Smart Financial Stories,' focusing on the necessity of consumption and savings.
