On the 29th, after finishing the plenary session at the National Assembly and moving to the members' office building, Democratic Party lawmakers Jeon Jae-su and Kang Jun-hyun collided with a vehicle escorting People Power Party lawmaker Lee Cheol-gyu. The two lawmakers fell to the ground from the impact but were reported to have not been seriously injured.
One patrol car, three fire trucks, and several ambulances were dispatched to the scene after receiving the report, but it was known that the lawmakers had already left the scene upon arrival.
A staff member from Lawmaker Jeon's office said, "They fell when hit by the car but sustained minor injuries," adding, "(Lawmaker Jeon) injured his waist and hips and plans to visit the hospital tomorrow (the 30th)."
