Hyundai Children's Book Museum Unveils Metaverse Exhibition Experience Space
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Hyundai Department Store's Hyundai Children's Book Museum announced on the 29th that it will introduce the virtual exhibition experience space "Metaverse Moca Garden" through the metaverse platform "Hidden Order" mobile application (app).
Metaverse Moca Garden is a three-dimensional virtual space that replicates the artworks exhibited at Moca Garden located in Hyundai Premium Outlet Space One, which opened last year. Moca Garden is a storytelling-type cultural and artistic space planned by curators of the Hyundai Children's Book Museum at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch and designed by Jaime Hayon, a world-renowned industrial designer from Spain.
In Metaverse Moca Garden, visitors can view seven sculptures?including a llama with golden ears, a monkey holding a ball in one hand, and a dog wearing a hat that looks like a sausage?from 360 degrees. Users can also experience game-like content such as obtaining items through conversations (quests) with the sculptures. Communication between users connected simultaneously is possible through the chat window.

A Hyundai Department Store official said, "Metaverse Moca Garden was planned to allow customers to freely enjoy culture and art without restrictions of time and place even during social distancing situations," adding, "Through game-like content, customers will be able to approach culture and art more familiarly."
