IBK Industrial Bank-Naver Sign Business Agreement to Promote Online Expansion for Small Businesses
Joint Launch of Online Growth Training Courses for Small Business Owners... Specialized Financial Support Planned
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 29th that it has signed a non-face-to-face business agreement with Naver to ‘promote the online advancement of small business owners.’
Through this agreement, IBK will jointly operate the ‘Small Business Online Growth Support Program,’ which combines IBK’s SME financial expertise with Naver’s e-commerce know-how.
The program will begin on the 18th of next month. It consists of systematic customized education including online lectures such as ▲guidance on policy funds suitable for small business owners ▲tax-saving know-how as important as profits ▲basics of online store operation and management ▲special Q&A live coaching with experts from various fields ▲1:1 online consulting to learn search advertising know-how. Outstanding graduates will also receive benefits such as preferential loan interest rates and support for brand logo creation.
Any small business owner wishing to enter the online market can apply, and applications can be submitted through IBK’s internet banking, mobile banking applications (apps) i-ONE Bank, i-ONE Small Business, and Naver Business School event page until the 15th of next month.
Additionally, the two companies plan to develop loan products for small business owners facing difficulties with face-to-face (offline) sales. They plan to provide low-interest loans to promising online businesses among small business owners operating online stores with future growth potential.
