The bill specifies that "a branch of the National Assembly shall be established in Sejong Special Self-Governing City as the Sejong Assembly Hall," and allows the National Assembly to determine necessary matters.

With the bill passing the plenary session, the National Assembly will immediately proceed with the design order process for the branch using the already secured design budget of 14.7 billion won. The expected design period for the Sejong Assembly Hall is 2 years, and construction will take 3 years, so it is expected to open as early as the second half of 2026.
