11 Busan Cosmetics Companies Participate, Achieving 333 Consultations and Export Contract Signings
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A cosmetics company in Busan signed an export contract worth $820,000 at the largest domestic beauty event held recently.
Busan City announced on the 28th that 11 cosmetics companies from the Busan area participated in the '2021 Intercharm Korea' held at COEX, Seoul, from the 15th to the 17th, achieving such results.
Now in its 19th year, 'Intercharm Korea' is the largest domestic cosmetics and beauty business exhibition certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, co-hosted by Seoul Messe International and Reed K Fair.
Along with online consultations with overseas buyers, export consultations were conducted on-site by inviting overseas buyers.
Seminars were also held on topics such as online live commerce beauty exhibitions, trends in the global cosmetics market and export strategies, and vegan certification (using natural eco-friendly ingredients instead of animal-derived raw materials).
A total of 11 companies from Busan participated, each operating exhibition booths to actively promote cosmetics overseas and attract buyers.
As a result, through a total of 333 export consultations, export contracts worth a total of $820,000 were signed, including $250,000 with UNB and $220,000 with BB Solution.
