Kakao Mobility Acquires Two Additional Designated Driver Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] It has been confirmed that Kakao Mobility has acquired two additional designated driver companies.
According to Kakao Mobility on the 27th, its subsidiary CMNP acquired two telephone-based designated driver companies last month.
Kakao Mobility entered the telephone call market by establishing a new corporation with '1577 Daeriunjeon' at the end of July. Since then, it has made additional investments to actively expand its designated driver business.
The existing designated driver market mainly operated through telephone 'calls.' Designated drivers signed contracts with designated driver companies, and the affiliated companies used control programs under usage contracts.
However, since Kakao Mobility launched a service that directly connects designated drivers and users through the 'KakaoT' application (app), conflicts with the existing industry have continued.
