VT GMP Expands 'Cica Line' to Offline Stores Across Japan
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] VT GMP's cosmetics business brand VT Cosmetic announced on the 27th that it will start a promotion at the famous Japanese variety shop 'Plaza' to strengthen contact with local consumers and aggressively expand offline stores in Japan.
Plaza is one of Japan's top three variety stores selling cosmetics and daily necessities, along with 'LOFT' and 'TOKYU HANDS', with stores distributed throughout Japan. It is known for its strict entry conditions and handling of high-quality products.
VT Cosmetic plans to showcase a cosmetics set consisting of 'Cica Mild Toner Pad', 'Cica Skin', and 'Emulsion 15ml', which have been loved by Japanese consumers for their excellent skin soothing and moisturizing effects, at all Plaza stores in Japan during the promotion period.
Additionally, the enhanced functional lineup with the proprietary ingredient 'Cica Hyalo-Zen™', including 'Pro Cica Spot Patch' and 'Cica Night Lip Mask', will be newly launched at 'Welcia', Japan's largest drugstore with over 2,000 stores.
Currently, VT Cosmetic is expanding its cosmetics in major Japanese variety stores and drugstores such as 'LOFT', 'Plaza', and 'Welcia', which operate 131 stores nationwide including Tokyo's Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Omotesando, and is continuously strengthening offline market expansion and marketing.
Meanwhile, VT Cosmetic is gaining popularity as a hot item among Japanese consumers, with sales during the September mega discount events on Japan's representative online shopping malls 'Qoo10' and 'Rakuten' increasing more than fourfold compared to the same month last year.
