Jeonju Cultural Heritage Night Festival Held October 22-23

[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] The ‘2021 Jeonju Cultural Heritage Night Tour (夜行)’ will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of next month at Jeonju Gyeonggijeon and Jeolla Gamyeong areas.

Jeonju City announced on the 24th that the Jeonju Cultural Heritage Night Tour, where visitors can enjoy history, play, and experiences while feeling the night atmosphere of Jeonju Hanok Village, will be held as such.

This Cultural Heritage Night Tour, held for the second time following June, will be postponed by one month from the original schedule considering the COVID-19 vaccination rate of citizens.

Jeonju City plans to operate by accepting advance reservations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, separating programs by zones, and expanding online participation programs.

The Cultural Heritage Night Tour is divided into a total of five zones: four zones at Gyeonggijeon and one zone at Jeolla Gamyeong, with a total of eight fields including performances, experiences, and night views, and 21 programs conducted both online and offline.

In the five zones, programs such as △A Walk with the King △Gyeonggijeon Zombie Chronicles △Healing Gyeonggijeon △Night of Cultural Heritage through Photos △Local Artists’ Stage △Meeting Taejo and the Night Tour Character △Jeolla Gamyeong Returns △Jeolla Gamyeong Outdoor Escape Game will be held.

Additionally, online programs include △Wise Stay-at-Home Life △Jeonju Cultural Heritage VR Construction Project △Minecraft Jeonju Construction Video Production △Midnight ‘Gye’ Profit △Street Fireworks △KakaoTalk Escape Room National O·X Quiz △Jeonju Goods Live Commerce.

Advance reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis through the official Jeonju Cultural Heritage Night Tour website from the 11th to the 15th of next month.

Jeonju Cultural Heritage Night Tour was selected as one of the ‘Top 100 Domestic Night Tourism Spots You Must Visit’ by the Korea Tourism Organization in April last year.
