Gwangsan-gu Public Health Center in Gwangju Delivers 'Anbu Package' to 1,080 Vulnerable People
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangsan District Public Health Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 24th that it delivered care packages to about 1,080 vulnerable individuals registered in the home health care program who are going through difficult times due to COVID-19.
The care packages prepared for the recent Chuseok holiday consisted of nutritional supplements, masks, massagers, and vitamins. Professional visiting nurses conducted one-on-one home visits to check on the recipients' well-being and delivered the packages.
Going forward, the health center plans to monitor the health status of the recipients and provide personalized health management services, including exercise programs.
A representative from the Gwangsan District Public Health Center said, "We hope the care packages bring a small joy to the elderly exhausted by COVID-19," and added, "We will continue to do our best in the home health care service to ensure thorough health management."
