View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) Social Customized Industry-Academia Cooperation Leading University (LINC+) Development Project Group recently announced on the 22nd that it held award ceremonies for the LINC+ Project 'Video Content Contest' and 'Field Training Essay Contest.'
The award ceremony for the 'LINC+ Project Video Content Contest' selected five winners by evaluating videos produced on the theme of experiences related to participation and achievements in the LINC+ Project curriculum.
In this video content contest, Lee Jung-hoon (Department of Convergence Software, 3rd year), who won the grand prize with the theme 'My University Life Story,' said, "The LINC+ Project gave me an opportunity to design my future and move forward."
The 'LINC+ Project Field Training Essay Contest' evaluated essays describing PBL field training experiences and impressions, selecting and awarding 18 winners among 59 students who completed the 2021 summer field training.
In the essay contest, Lee Min-jun (Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 4th year) won the grand prize with the theme 'Engineer Developing Products and Hardware.' Lee Min-jun stated, "Through this field training, I gained valuable experience by directly experiencing practical work on site."
Kim Jung-geun, head of Gwangju University LINC+ Project Group, said, "We are striving to cultivate field-customized talents through field training and the operation of various social customized curricula," adding, "We will work harder to solidify social customized curricula and provide diverse opportunities to students in the future."
