GS Retail Launches 'ESG Capability Enhancement Program' for Small and Medium Partners
GS Retail is launching a non-face-to-face training program for small and medium-sized partner companies called the 'ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Capacity Building Program.'
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS Retail announced on the 22nd that it will actively launch the 'ESG Capacity Building Program' involving small and medium-sized partner companies as part of expanding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
The educational content includes an integrated concept of ESG management, such as strategies for a sustainable environment, corporate social responsibilities including human rights, labor, and safety, and transparent and sound corporate governance, along with specific excellent cases of ESG management.
The program consists of a total of five categories of courses and will be conducted in a non-face-to-face manner, such as video education and online lectures, considering COVID-19 and other factors. GS Retail will first promote the 'ESG Program' targeting about 400 small and medium-sized partner companies that have expressed their intention to participate and plans to continue the program until the end of this year.
