Tomorrow, 4,625,000 Doses of Pfizer Vaccine Arrive at Incheon Airport
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Additional COVID-19 vaccines directly contracted by our government with the U.S. pharmaceutical company Pfizer are arriving.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team (Promotion Team) announced on the 21st in a reference document that "4,625,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines individually contracted will arrive at Incheon Airport on the morning of the 22nd at around 11:30 AM on Korean Air flight KE9518."
These vaccines are part of the 66 million doses directly contracted by our government with Pfizer.
Pfizer vaccines are delivered sequentially in fixed quantities every week.
A total of 7,002,000 doses arrived in the first half of this year, and 14,083,000 doses arrived in July and August. Including this shipment, 15,933,000 doses have been supplied since September.
Including other products besides Pfizer, a total of 73,855,000 doses have been introduced.

The vaccines secured through contracts with individual pharmaceutical companies, international organizations, or international cooperation include five types: Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Novavax, totaling 194.9 million doses.
