On the afternoon of the 17th, Jo posted on her Facebook, saying, "The position of a member of the National Assembly and constitutional institutions are not granted the authority to do such things."
Jo stated, "From now on, as previously announced, I will take legal action against former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol and Representative Kim Woong, as well as including Floor Leader Kim Ki-hyun, Jang Je-won, and Representative Kwon Seong-dong for both civil and criminal legal measures," and warned of a strong response, saying, "I will take strong legal action against all posts involving sexual insults, false information, and defamation on various communities and SNS comments."
In an earlier post on the same day, Jo said, "I was preparing hard to launch a service and planned to go to New York, but there is chaos over my departure from the U.S., including travel bans. Even at this time, I am cooperating with investigative agencies and will fully reveal the criminal facts related to the 'Yoon Seok-yeol Supreme Prosecutors' Office election interference and opposition party accusation solicitation case' and then proceed slowly," adding, "Cooperating with four investigative agencies makes my personal schedule tight."
Jo continued, "Who is Yoon Ji-oh? They keep talking about the second Lee Yu-mi, so what is the second Yoon Ji-oh?" and added, "You can submit the phone of Prosecutor Son Jun-sung, the sender, along with the victims Yoon Seok-yeol, Kim Kun-hee, and Han Dong-hoon, as specified in the April 3, 2020 complaint, to the four places: Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials, Central District Prosecutors' Office, and National Investigation Headquarters, just like me."
