Song Seonghun, Chief of Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju, Encourages Vaccination Center Paramedics
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] On the morning of the 16th, Song Seonghun, Chief of Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju, visited the COVID-19 Vaccination Center in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Gwangju Veterans Hospital Rehabilitation Gymnasium) to encourage the paramedics.
This visit was arranged to commend the efforts of the 119 paramedics who are supporting activities at the COVID-19 Vaccination Center.
The Gwangsan Fire Station has deployed one ambulance, two paramedics, and two volunteer firefighters on site to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Gwangsan-gu, establishing a system for monitoring adverse reactions and providing prompt emergency treatment and urgent transport when adverse reactions are detected.
Chief Song said, “I am grateful to the paramedics who work hard to ensure citizens can safely receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” and added, “We will do our best to end COVID-19 as soon as possible and restore a safe daily life.”
