LH Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters Conducts Safety Inspection of Public Rental Housing
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters is creating a safe residential environment for public rental housing.
On the 16th, LH Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters announced that it plans to inspect hazardous factors in common areas and install safety facilities to prevent fall accidents and traffic safety accidents in five public rental housing complexes in the region.
Amid increasing concerns about traffic accidents and fall/drop accidents within complexes due to frequent gusts caused by abnormal weather and the increase of courier and delivery vehicles, efforts have begun to create a safe home.
In consultation with the management offices of public rental complexes, LH Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters selected areas with a high possibility of safety accidents and started inspecting the condition of all sloped roof finishing materials and safety facilities from the 8th.
The selected areas include passageways for children’s daycare centers, prioritizing the safety of vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.
Areas with insufficient safety facility installations were also selected, and additional installations are scheduled to be completed by October.
Main safety facilities include rooftop front and rear safety railings to prevent falls, underground parking lot safety barriers to prevent accidents caused by vehicles exceeding height limits, speed bumps, and mirrors to prevent traffic accidents.
LH will continue to identify improvements to ensure a safe residential environment for residents of public rental housing.
