Seoul Facilities Corporation and Hanyang University Sign MOU for Social Infrastructure Technology Development Cooperation

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seoul Facilities Corporation (Chairman Seongil Jo) signed a business agreement on the 14th with Hanyang University at the 2nd Conference Room of the New Main Building of Hanyang University for "Cooperation in Technology Development Related to Social Infrastructure and Training of Specialized Personnel."
Through this agreement, both institutions plan to actively cooperate in improving social infrastructure maintenance technologies and training related specialized technical personnel. Specifically, through this business agreement, the two institutions will jointly promote information exchange and consultation related to social infrastructure, cooperation in R&D project promotion, and training of technical experts.
Seoul Facilities Corporation has been hosting PSC Open Innovation, a collaboration among industry, academia, government, and the public, and is preparing to operate the "Road Infrastructure Management Open Square" for the safety and maintenance of aging infrastructure.
Seongil Jo, Chairman of Seoul Facilities Corporation, said, "For systematic infrastructure maintenance, it is important to gather all capabilities of industry, academia, government, and the public for a full-scale response," and added, "Based on the excellent personnel and technological capabilities of both institutions, we will strive for technological cooperation and development of facility maintenance technologies."
