Jungjingong Gwangju Headquarters Holds Practical Meeting to Revitalize the Automobile Industry

This practical meeting was attended by more than 20 organizations including the Small and Medium Business Corporation, Gwangju United Technology Holdings, and Gwangju TP, where they shared the performance of each regional innovation institution's achievements in the first half of the year and discussed support and cooperation plans for building automotive industry infrastructure in the future.
The Small and Medium Business Corporation plays a pioneering role in revitalizing the regional economy by preparing dedicated funds such as the regional balanced New Deal funds and fostering regional preliminary unicorn companies through projects that can innovate 48 regional key industries centered on 32 regional headquarters nationwide.
In particular, the Gwangju Regional Headquarters has formed an automotive industry-specialized innovation entity network to provide focused support to small and medium ventures engaged in the Gwangju-type jobs, which are related to the automotive industry, and the unmanned low-speed special vehicle sector, a regulatory free zone, continuously providing comprehensive customized linked support.
The main contents of the linked support include policy fund loans, guarantees, startup and technology support, export market development, R&D, investment, and job projects, with ‘relay-style’ support being carried out through inter-agency cooperation.
