[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, amid the ongoing spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), is conducting a social distancing campaign during the Chuseok holiday with the 'Our Village Health Manager' to ensure a healthy and safe Chuseok.
The campaign runs for five days from the 13th to the 17th, and on the 13th, promotional activities for quarantine guidelines were carried out at Wanghu Market, where an increase in visitors is expected ahead of Chuseok.
The campaign is conducted at 532 senior centers in the area, where health managers visit designated senior centers to inform and promote to local residents about daily quarantine guidelines during the Chuseok holiday, operation of on-duty medical institutions and pharmacies, prevention methods for holiday syndrome, and health information.
The special quarantine period for this Chuseok is from the 13th to the 26th. The county encourages using delegated services for grave trimming, refraining from visiting ancestral graves as much as possible, using online memorial and grave visiting services, and avoiding rest area visits during travel whenever possible.
