Seobu Power Conducts Campaign to Eradicate Serious Accidents
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Korea Western Power held the 'Serious Accident Eradication D-100 Campaign and Proclamation Ceremony' online on the 13th to express the company's commitment to eradicating industrial accidents.
Considering that serious accidents mainly occur in the second half of the year, Western Power designated the 100-day period from the 7th of this month to December 16 as a vulnerable period for industrial accidents and decided to focus on safety management.
In particular, during this period, the 3·3·3 Safety Management Campaign for the prevention of serious accidents will be implemented. This campaign selects and intensively manages three high-risk tasks to eradicate the three major industrial accidents: falls, overturns, and entrapments. The goal is to prevent serious accidents, industrial accidents, and near-misses through this effort.
At the proclamation ceremony, Park Hyungdeok, President of Western Power, declared a code of conduct for building a safety culture with employees and urged all business sites to achieve zero accidents during the campaign period. In particular, Western Power plans to create key management items aimed at eradicating serious accidents and manage performance by each business site. Business sites with excellent performance will be rewarded to promote safety activities.
