Gyeryong Construction Consortium to Launch 'Leaders City' in Cheondong 3 District, Daejeon in October

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] The Gyeryong Construction Consortium (Gyeryong Construction, Daewoo Construction, Kumho Construction, Taeyoung Construction) announced on the 13th that it will launch the 'Leaders City' apartment complex in Cheondong 3 District, Dong-gu, Daejeon, in October.

This complex, developed in Blocks 4 and 5 of Cheondong 3 District in Daejeon, consists of 26 buildings with a total of 3,463 households. Among them, 10 buildings with 1,328 households located in Block 4 will be supplied first. The complex is composed of units ranging from 59㎡ to 84㎡, which are highly preferred by buyers. All units are primarily south-facing, providing excellent natural lighting. A landscaping-specialized design that includes plazas and gardens within the complex will also be applied.

The transportation environment is well established. It is a station-area complex near Sinheung Station on Daejeon Metro Line 1, offering high accessibility to downtown Daejeon areas such as Dunsan and Eunhaeng-dong. The Gyeongbu Line Daejeon Station, where KTX and SRT lines pass, is located nearby, making it convenient to use the metropolitan transportation network to Seoul, Busan, and other cities. A new station for Daejeon Metro Line 2 (tram) is planned to be built at Indong Intersection.

As an 'Chopuma' (an apartment complex embracing an elementary school) complex with Cheondong Elementary School, residents can enjoy convenient living with shopping facilities such as Homeplus, Seib Department Store, Costco, as well as Chungnam National University Hospital, Hanwha Life Eagles Park, and cinemas.

Nearby the complex are Samgol Neighborhood Park, Ppyojoksan, and Bihaksan. It is also close to the Daejeoncheon Stream, which has walking trails.

There are various development benefits as well. The Dong-gu Cheondong area, where the complex is located, has been designated as a Residential Regeneration Innovation District and is being developed as a new residential complex hub in Daejeon. Around the Daejeon station area near the complex, urban regeneration projects, innovation city development, and downtown convergence special zone development are underway.

A sales official said, “Leaders City, with its excellent transportation and residential environment, is considered the biggest property among Daejeon’s housing supply in the second half of the year, and inquiries are continuously coming in.”
