Suwon City Produces 'Suwon Hwaseong and Hwaseong Haenggung Seen Through Sign Language'
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province has produced a promotional video introducing all the facilities of the World Cultural Heritage Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Haenggung Palace in sign language, subtitles, and audio.
On the 13th, Suwon City announced that it recently produced a leaflet titled 'Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Haenggung Palace in Sign Language' and placed it at all information centers within Suwon Hwaseong Fortress.
The leaflet contains photos and descriptions of 21 facilities of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, including Buksumun (Hwahoongmun), Bukammun, Dongbukgakru (Banghwasuryujeong), Dongjangdae (Yeonmudae), and Seojangdae, as well as 10 facilities of Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, such as Sinpungnu, Yuyeotaek, Bongsudang, and Hwaryeongjeon.
By scanning the QR code next to the facility photos with a smartphone, visitors can watch videos in audio, subtitles, and sign language.
In particular, to make it easier for the hearing impaired to watch, the size of the sign language explanation video has been enlarged to one-quarter of the full screen.
